Sangwari Foods
Our approach supports farmers by purchasing their unsold ragi (finger millet) yield, giving them hope and financial stability, while also creating local jobs for women in cleaning, washing, and grinding, thus empowering rural communities.
Compared to artificial, processed foods dominating the global market, ragi offers a natural, easily digestible, and affordable alternative that can strengthen both health and local economies. Many states, like Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh have seen farmers benefit from ragi cultivation, earning higher incomes and requiring less water and care than traditional crops. This holistic model addresses food security, women’s empowerment, and rural prosperity.
